About the Mural
"Hope Wall" in Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY, was created in collaboration with artist Marcia Smith.
Center tiles are 6" square manufactured tiles hand-painted and glazed by the patients, family and staff in the out patient oncology center at Highland Hospital. The border tiles are 4 ¼" manufactured tiles, hand-painted and glazed. The mosaics are hand-cut, manufactured tiles.
